Harvey est un petit village dans la province du Nouveau-Brunswick . Harvey est situé a environ 50 km de Fredericton. Fredericton est la capitale du Nouveau –Brunswick. Il y a beaucoup d’arbres a Harvey parce que le village de Harvey est a la campagne. Il y a aussi beaucoup de lacs.

Mme Szo's class has two classes of penpals they are writing to. One class is in Cambridge, Ontario and the other is in New Maryland, New Brunswick.

The students are writing to each other in French, as all classes are in the French Immersion program.

While this is giving the classes an opportunity to use their writing skills, they are also learning about each other's communities! Harvey, New Maryland and Cambridge are all unique communities and so comparisons are able to be made.

Unfortunately, Mme. Szo's class will not be able to meet their friends in Cambridge since it is so far away. However, they should be able to meet their penpals from New Maryland at the end of the year.
